Yvonne A. "Vonnie" Swab, age 78, of Fennimore, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, due to complications from COPD. She was born on September 25, 1943, in Monroe, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Ronatta (Kamps) Pinkham. Vonnie graduated from Darlington High School in 1961. On August 9, 1975, Yvonne “Vonnie” married Charles A. "Chuck" Swab at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She was employed at Advance Transformer in Boscobel for over 33 years, retiring in 2008. Vonnie was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Lancaster. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, especially poker, and loved nature. Vonnie was an avid lover of music. She enjoyed playing the piano and the guitar and was a member of the Country Queens band for many years. She dearly loved her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; her children: Teresa (Gary) Morrow, Jerry Mann, and Lori (Kevin) Wood; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Harlan Pinkham; and a niece.
In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her in-laws: Don and Bess Swab; and one granddaughter, Maria Price.
In keeping with Yvonne's wishes, there will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cards of condolence may be sent to Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, Yvonne Swab, PO Box 30, Lancaster, Wisconsin 53813.
