William R. Peake

William R. “Junior” Peake, age 86, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born July 13, 1937, the son of William and Ocea (Miller) Peake. Junior graduated from Lancaster High School in 1956. He was employed at General Motors in Janesville, until his retirement. Junior was a member of the Calvary Community Church in Lancaster. He enjoyed his friends and boating on the Mississippi River. Junior’s nephews were very special to him.

Surviving is his sister: Sandra (Gary) Koeller; nephews: Jeff (Jody) Koeller and Tim (Lori Hullermann) Myers; a niece: Stacey Myers, and a great nephew, Jordan Koeller; two great nieces: Jacy Koeller and Jade (Mike) Loehe.

He was preceded in death by his sister: Sharon Myers, and a special nephew: Rick Van Natta.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Community Church in Lancaster, with Pastor Nate La More officiating.  Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
