William L. Kleinow

LANCASTER - William L. “Bill” Kleinow, age 77, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Grant Regional Hospital. He was born on January 20, 1947, in Marquette, Iowa, the son of Earl and Mildred (Leech) Kleinow. Until his retirement, he was employed at Ray O Vac in Fennimore, WI for 33 years. He loved working with wood and made many beautiful things for family, friends and others. 

Survivors include his wife, Sherlyn; his children: Terri Jordan and Jason Kleinow. Two stepchildren: John and Jamie Klein. Three grandchildren: Amanda O’Connell, Evan Kleinow and Elias Klein. He has one surviving sister, Karen Pillard and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Richard Kleinow and grandson, Seth Kleinow, three brothers: Ronald, Robert and Lawrence Kleinow and two sisters: Sharon Kricke and Sandra Beck

Per his request, there will be no funeral services. Burial will be held at a later date at Union Nagle Cemetery. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
