William J. "Bill" Hore

William J. Bill Hore, age 52, of Lancaster, died on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at UW Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. He was born on November 24, 1957, in Lancaster, the son of James and Mary (Williams) Hore. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1976. On June 3, 1983, Bill was united in marriage to Jean Heer in Fennimore. He was employed at Latham Tire and Service and Zippys Brass Rail in Lancaster. Billloved camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Hore; his parents, Jim and Mary Hore; his brother, Tom (Anne) Hore and their children, Justin, Jena, and MaKayla, all of Lancaster; sister, Pauline (Jeff) Rice and their children, Ben and Samantha, all of Bartlett, IL; his mother-in-law, Arlene Heer-Reilly, Fennimore; brother and sisters-in-law: Jerome (Ellen Engelkin) Heer and their daughter, Jane, Wauwatosa; Judy (Mark) Johnson and their daughters, Kari and Sarah, all of LaCrosse; Jan (Cecil) Segelken; Eau Claire; other relatives and many friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Heer.

Family and friends called on Sunday, January 24, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
