Victor L. Adrian

Victor L. Adrian, age 70, of Cassville, died on Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Lancaster Care Center in Lancaster. He was born on April 24, 1939, in Lancaster, the son of Ed and Marie (Esser) Adrian. Victor graduated from Cassville High School in 1957. He then enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country until his honorable discharge in 1959. On October 3, 1964, he was united in marriage to Nancy Kartman at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Three children were born to this union. She preceded him in death in 1983. Victor was employed at John Deere and with Wisconsin Power and Light for over thirty years. He married Patsy Krohn, who preceded him in death. He later married Betty Nelson of Cassville. Victor enjoyed hunting, camping, and spending time at his sons shop.

Survivors include his children: Brad (Kelly Zimmerman) Adrian, Mt. Vernon, SD; Jenni (Scott) Neuman, Windsor; Jon (Amy Okey) Adrian, Cassville; two grandchildren: Sam and Lilly Neuman; a sister, Donna (Russ) Metcalfe, Cassville; his wife, Betty Nelson, Cassville; Patsys children: Jeff (Amy) Krohn, Prairie du Chien; Tammy (Kyle) Hudson, Missy (John) Okey, and Candy (Matt Walker) Krohn, all of Cassville.

In addition to his parents, Victor was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy and wife, Patsy, and his twin sister, Vicky Adrian.

Family greeted friends on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Cassville. Private family burial was on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at St. Mary Settlement Cemetery, Cassville. Family suggests memorials may be offered to the Cassville Fire Department.
