Todd J. Brandemuehl

LANCASTER – Todd J. Brandemuehl, age 57, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on April 15, 1964, the son of Larry and Jean (Schildgen) Brandemuehl. Todd graduated from Lancaster High School in 1982. After graduation, he farmed with his father, Larry. In 1996, through his brother, Jeff, Todd became a farm hand on the Strobel family farm near Mankato, MN, where he met his future wife, Amy. On May 30, 1998, Todd was united in marriage to Amy J. Strobel at the United Methodist Church in Mankato, MN. Together they farmed in Liberty Township, WI, and owned and operated Brandemuehl Farms, LLC. He was a member of the Little Britches Rodeo, West Grant Saddle Club, and Southwest Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association. Todd took pride in his hard work ethic and passed that trait on to his children. Family was a top priority to Todd; he was generous with his time, always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Amy; their children: David, Alexis, and Christopher; his parents, Larry and Jean; his siblings: Jim (Kim), Jeff (Dawn) Brandemuehl, Jackie (Randy) Christensen, Jolene (Greg) Millin, Jennifer (Lynn) Koch; his mother-in-law, Janet Strobel; in-laws: Mike (Shelley) Strobel, Susan (Todd) Schneider, Lisa (Roger) Gleisner, Greg (Robin), Randy (Michelle) Strobel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Todd was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dr. Claire Strobel; an uncle, David Brandemuehl; two nephews: Bradley Millin and Jacob Strobel.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lancaster United Methodist Church in Lancaster. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Todd J. Brandemuehl Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is serving the family.
