Thomas P. Adrian

Thomas P. Adrian, 78, of Cassville , WI , died on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque , IA. Tom was born on July 15, 1932, in Cassville, a son of Joseph & Clara (Brinkmann) Adrian. Tom graduated from Cassville High School in 1950. He married Florence Meyers on September 17, 1960, in Cassville. Tom worked for 39 years at Dairyland Power, until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, and once served as a volunteer firefighter for the Cassville Fire Department. He enjoyed gardening at the farm, fishing, hunting, deer rides, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his three children, Sue (Jed) Sperry of Chippewa Falls, WI, Greg (Sandy) of Blanchardville, WI, and Jill (Brad) Werlein of Middleton, WI; four grandchildren, Sam, Jake, Riley, and Reese; a brother, Richard of Monona, WI; a sister, Mary (Gene) Metcalfe of Cassville; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence in 1991; and his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville, with Father John Meinholz celebrating the mass. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 am at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery . Martin Funeral Home in Cassville is serving his family.
