Terry S. Smith

Terry S. Smith, age 60, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023.  He was born on March 29, 1963, the son of Loren and Donna (Bell) Smith.  Terry graduated from Lancaster High School in 1981.  He was employed with various companies over the years, most recently at SunGarden Greenhouse.  Terry enjoyed antiquing, watching the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers, and his many pets. 

Survivors include his mother, Donna, two sisters: Susan (Jim Bartow) VanNatta and Alison (Clifford) Olson, a brother, Carson (Annetta) Smith, his goddaughter, Lauren Smith, two stepsons: Jeremy and Ryan Scott, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Debra, his father, Loren, a brother, William “Bill” Smith, and a brother-in-law, Rick VanNatta.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster.  Family and friends may call on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.  A private family burial will be in Mt. Ida Cemetery, Mt. Ida Township.  A Celebration of Terry’s Life will continue after his funeral service at Copper Dome Sports Bar, 126 N Madison St., Lancaster. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Terry S. Smith Memorial Fund has been established.
