Terry L. Roe

Terry L. Roe, age 78, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Lancaster Health Services in Lancaster. He was born on November 14, 1941, in Dubuque, IA, the son of Maynard and Shirley (Grimm) Roe. Terry graduated high school and served his country in the United States Navy for 23 years until his honorable retirement in 1977. On April 4, 1992, Terry was united in marriage to Ellen K. Conley at Chemung, IL. After their marriage, the couple resided in Darien, WI and later moved to Cassville, where they currently reside. Terry was an active member of the Mumm Welsh American Legion Post No. 352 and the Donaldson Kelly Kirschbaum VFW Post No. 7080 of Cassville. He was also a member of the River Valley Community Church. Terry enjoyed singing and fishing.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ellen; three children: John, Kyle, and Sherri Roe; two stepchildren: Corey and Aaron Bischke; grandchildren and a sister, Sally.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sisters, Robin and Bonnie.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at the River Valley Community Church, 404 Denniston St., Cassville, with Dr. Don Zahurance officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the Veteran's Memorial in Cassville by the Mumm Welsh American Legion Post No. 352 and the Donaldson Kelly Kirschbaum VFW Post No 7080 of Cassville. Family and friends may call on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Terry L. Roe Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
