Stanley F. Stosh Du Charme, age 65, of Bloomington, died on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at his home in Bloomington. He was born on October 11, 1944, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Walter and Martha (Mara) Du Charme. On March 25, 1975, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Gotto in Wyoming. After their marriage, Stosh was employed at Miniature Precision Components, Inc. in Prairie du Chien for over eighteen years as a production operator. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and horses.
In addition to his parents, Stosh was preceded in death by his brother, David Du Charme and his father-in-law, Francis Gotto.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Du Charme, Bloomington; his daughter, Tina (Jeramie) Anderson, Prairie du Chien; two grandchildren: Micheal Froehlich and Tyler Anderson; his brothers and sisters: Beverly Ann (Dale) Check, Eastman; Walter Dewey (Billie Lou) Du Charme, Bagley; Bernadean Bunny (Rodney) Bartholomew, Juneau; Yvonne (Bill) Hubbard, Prairie du Chien; Jon Du Charme, Eastman; Steve Du Charme, Eastman; Marcia Feilbach, Marquette, IA; Michael (Trina) Du Charme; Eastman; Jenny Russell, McGregor, IA; his mother-in-law, Naomi Gotto, Bloomington; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 19, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington with Father Bart Timmerman officiating. Private family burial was at a later date. Friends called on Sunday, October 18, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington and from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Stosh Du Charme memorial fund has been established.
