Sherry K. Robinson-Schauff

Sherry K. Robinson-Schauff, age 74, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was born December 16, 1943 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of Sherwood and Katherine (Ashlock) Robinson. Sherry graduated from Cassville High School in 1961, before going on to complete a degree in music from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. She continued her education with additional schooling at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and at Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. Sherry enjoyed music and spent her career in music education, teaching at various schools in Sun Prairie, WI, Madison, WI, and Dubuque, IA. While teaching, Sherry directed several musicals and presented numerous vocal and instrumental programs. Her musical talent allowed her the ability to play the piano, organ, violin, trombone, and guitar, and liked to travel in her free time. She was active in her community; serving as an accompanist at the United Methodist Church in Cassville and was past matron for the Order of the Eastern Star. Sherry also was a loving caretaker for her mother, Katherine, for the last twenty-five years.

Sherry is survived by her son, Sean Schauff; and two granddaughters: Sage and Shelby Schauff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherwood and Katherine Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, with Rev. Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Burial will be in the Cassville Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes and Crematory in Cassville is entrusted with her services.
