Sabrina C. Langmeier, age 58, of Patch Grove, went to Heaven on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family. Sabrina was born June 15, 1957, in Mesa, Arizona to Casimiro "Cas" and Dorothy (Christ) Hurtado. On April 4, 1981, she married James G. Langmeier at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. A loving wife to Jim and beloved mother of three sons, Joseph, Michael, and Keith, family was her heart and joy. Farming with her family brought her much happiness. Sabrina was a patient and kind friend to all. A woman of strong faith, Sabrina was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers and a good fish on the end of her line.
Sabrina is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Jim; their sons, Joe, Mike and Keith (Amy) and beautiful granddaughter, Greta Jean Langmeier all of Patch Grove; one sister, Charlamen Hurtado, Glendale, AZ; two brothers, Cas (Susan) Hurtado, Scottsdale, AZ, Greg Hurtado, Kingsburg, CA; mother-in-law, Pat Langmeier, Lancaster; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet Langmeier, Denver, CO, Ann (Greg) Quick, Prairie du Chien, Peg (Roger)Guthrie, Bagley, Pete (Gail) Langmeier, Mt. Hope, Paul (Delaine) Langmeier, Bloomington, Tom (Dianne) Langmeier, Bloomington, Sue(Tracy) Christ, Bloomington; many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Sabrina was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Ben Langmeier.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Patch Grove with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in the Union Nagle Cemetery. Family and friends called on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington is assisting the family.
