Rose A. Hauk, age 71, of Cassville, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Lancaster Care Center. Rose was born on June 13, 1943 in Lancaster, the daughter of Fred and Agnes (Kirschbaum) Brinkman. On February 8, 1964, Rose was united in marriage to Phil Hauk at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Cassville for thirty-five years. Rose was also employed as a Teachers Aide at the Cassville Public School. She was an active member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Rose enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and will be dearly missed.
Rose is survived by her husband, Phil of Cassville; her four children: Kelly Hauk; Daniel (Julie) Hauk, Livingston; Troy Hauk, Cassville; Krisiti (Ed) Kreul, Cottage Grove; three grandchildren: Alex Hauk, Warren Robbins Air Force Base, GA; Lindsey and Garret Kreul, Cottage Grove; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Marcus and Ronald Brinkman.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, November 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lancaster Care Center Chapel in Lancaster with Bill Manthe officiating. Burial was at a later date. Family and friends called on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the chapel. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cassville is assisting the family.
