Roberta Muntz

Roberta L. Muntz, age 55 of Lancaster, formerly of Cassville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Grant Regional Health Center. She was born July 14, 1960 the daughter of Robert and Rose (Ward) Bohringer. Roberta attended St. Charles Catholic School and graduated from Cassville High School in 1978. She married Dorrance "Jake" Muntz at St. Perter's Lutheran Church in Cassville. Roberta received her nursing degree from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. She was employed at Lancaster Care Center, Good Samaritan Center in Fennimore, and currently at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, rural Lancaster. Roberta dearly loved keeping up with her family, co-workers, past and present, and nursing home residents.

Surviving are her parents; Bob and Rose Bohringer, siblings; Ronda (Jeff) Lenz and Rachel, Richard (Mary), and Roger (Penny) Bohringer. Step children Christine Vogt and Eric Wilson, five step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two great nephews, a special great niece, Lexi Bohringer, and her dog Chewy.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband Jake, a step son Bill Muntz, her fiance' Nick Adrian, her aunt Ruth Knoke and cousins Kristine Keene and Steve Wolter.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St Charles Catholic Church in Cassville, with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in the Cassville Cemetery. Family and friends called on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Roberta L. Muntz memorial fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Cassville is assisting the family.
