Roberta A. Pluemer

Roberta A. "Bobbie" Pluemer, age 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at her home. She was born on July 6, 1937, the daughter of Henry "Lee" and Velma (Welsh) Cliff. Roberta graduated from Lancaster High School. On November 17, 1956, she was united in marriage to Larry J. Pluemer at St. Clement Catholic Church. Together they farmed in North Lancaster Township where they raised their family. Along with her husband, Larry, they later owned Klondyke Secluded Acres Campground. Roberta enjoyed garage sales, antiquing, bargain shopping, and dining with family and friends.
Survivors include her children: Laurie (Gary) Simmons; Carol (Dennis) Hampton; Cheryl (Gale) Knapp; Leonard Pluemer; Stanley (Jane) Pluemer; Gail Pluemer Winter; Jeanne (Rod Duff) Pluemer; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Kendell; a brother, Roger (Cathy) Cliff; three brothers-in-law: John (Carol), Herb (Barb), Steve (Sue) Pluemer; two sisters-in-law: Alice (Rick) Kay, Margaret Dastur; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lee and Velma, and her stepmother, Margaret Cliff, Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; a brother, Loren Cliff; a sister-in-law, Anne Pluemer; three brothers-in-law: Gerald Kendell, Dusty Dastur, and Mike Pluemer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lancaster United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert McKelvey officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is entrusted with her care.
