Robert L. "Bob" Wagner, age 69, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster. He was born November 30, 1945, in Bloomington Township, the son of Michael and Julia (Welchert) Wagner. Bob graduated from Bloomington High School. He loved the town of Bloomington and working at Hermsen's Ace Hardware for more than forty years. Bob enjoyed riding his Harley and playing cards. In retirement, he enjoyed being everyone's handy man and delivering for Ma's Bakery. Bob was proud of being on the skunk board at Booray's Bar & Grill. He dearly loved his family, especially his granddaughter, Alli who he bought her first Harley.
Survivors include a son, Jason (Jennifer) Wagner, and their daughter, Alli; the love of his life, Sue Breuer; a sister, Patricia (Neal) Evans; two sisters-in-law: Joan and Ellen Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, and his brothers: Jack, Jim and Jerry.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Family and friends called on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Bob Wagner Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington is assisting the family.
