LIVINGSTON – Robert W. Pierce, age 84, of Livingston, Wisconsin, passed away at home on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born in Mt. Ida Township, the son of Maurice and Sadie (Schnitzler) Pierce. On November 3, 1962, Bob married the love of his life, Mary Starr. He worked at three cheese factories, then he went to Nelson/ Fleet Guard in Mineral Point, where he dedicated 33 years, retiring in 2010. Bob loved to fish, play the lottery, hunt, watch football and the Brewers, woodwork, and fix up the house. He enjoyed traveling out west and into northwest Wisconsin. Bob’s greatest love was doing anything with his grandkids.
Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary; two daughters: Becky (Norm Zadrazil) Pierce and Deb (Ron) Giddings-Pierce; his grandchildren: Kandy (Hank) Reiter, Keith (Shakyla) Moore, Chris (Madison) Moore, Jason Moore, and Jennifer (Cody) Moore; great-grandchildren: Harper and Hazel Moore; his sisters, Charlotte Burton and June (John) Gallmann; a brother, Marion Pierce; a special niece, Delores Roghers; and many nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Selma Jamison, Chris Dilly, Shirley Edge, Doris Klien, and Wilma Landon; and brothers: Charles, Orval and Albert Pierce.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, donations can be made to the Livingston Fire Department and First Responders. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
