Robert J. Scott

Robert J. Scott, age 66, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on November 26, 1954, in Lancaster, the son of Dorman and Modesta (Adams) Scott. Robert graduated from Lancaster High School in 1973. Following graduation, he worked various jobs. In 2002, Robert purchased Fubars Tavern in Lancaster that he operated until 2008. He then was employed at Cabela's, retiring in 2017. Robert dearly loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and camping. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and never missed a game. Robert was a simple man and liked to joke and talk "sh*t." He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his sons: Jeremy (Ebony Ehlen); Ryan (Alvita Berlinger); and Joe (Bianca) Scott and his mother, Tammy Behling; his grandchildren: Jesse Scott, TJ Ashley, Jennings Scott, and Preston Scott; one sister, Barbara Richter; other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his former wife, Debra Smith; and a sister, Shirley (Bob Yates) Murphy.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster, with Father William Vernon officiating. Burial will be in St. Clement Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
