Robert J. Austin

Robert James “Bob” Austin, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 15, 2022. Bob was born in Melrose Park, IL, the son of Robert and Beverly (Roesch) Austin. He attended Middleton High School. He was currently a truck driver for Southwark Metal in Piedmont, South Carolina. He was a loving son, father, and brother who enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers, and spending time with his family. Many of his happiest days were spent on the water boating, fishing, and playing.

Bob is survived by two sons: Casey Austin of Madison, WI, Dillon Austin of Ocala, FL; a daughter: Bailey Austin of Springfield, OH; his parents: Robert and Beverly Austin of Waunakee, WI; his former wife: Kerry Austin of Ocala, Fl; two sisters: Elizabeth (Charles) Fritz of Verona, WI, and Barbara (David Monson) Austin of Townsend, GA; and a special friend: Christina Padgett of Greenville, SC.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 1234 S. Madison St, Lancaster, Wisconsin, with a reception to follow the ceremony at the funeral home. In keeping with the family wishes, there will be no formal visitation. Private family burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, Wisconsin. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
