Richard C. Huff

Richard C. Huff, 65, Jefferson, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Madison. He was born on July 30, 1945 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of the late Elwood and Algie (Beetham) Huff. Richard attended West Grant High School in Patch Grove, Wisconsin. He moved to the Madison area in 1964 and had resided in Sun Prairie, Madison, Lake Mills, and Jefferson during the past 46 years.

Richard never married and is survived by two brothers; Larry Huff of Mesa, AZ and William Huff of Upland, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at 5:30 p.m. at the Claussen Funeral Home in Lake Mills with the Rev. Beth Rohn-Habhegger officiating. Friends called at the funeral home from 4 p.m. on Thursday until the time of service.

A memorial visitation was held on Friday, May 20, 2011, from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster, Wisconsin. Burial followed at the Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster.

The family would like to thank the hospital staffs at Fort Atkinson, University, and Select Specialty; and the funeral directors for their assistance and concern.
