Ralph L. Noble, age 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on August 20, 1931, in Lancaster, the son of George E. and Gertrude B. (Dobson) Noble. Ralph graduated from Lancaster High School in 1949. He traveled to Seattle for a short time where he met the love of his life. On April 19, 1952, Ralph was united in marriage to Wilma Dalton in Independence, MO. After their marriage, the couple farmed the family farm. Ralph enjoyed playing cards, watching football, politics and going to the sale barn. He dearly loved spending time with his family and keeping up with their activities. Ralph served as a North Lancaster Township Chairman for 21 years and served on the Grant County Board for 20 years.

Survivors include his loving wife, Wilma, Lancaster; their children: David (Dixie) Noble, Lancaster; Jackie (David) Becwar, Prairie du Chien; Peggy (Herman) Maier, Stitzer; Daniel (Deb) Noble, Prairie du Chien; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Carol (Larry) Jeidy, Fennimore; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a daughter, Bev Schmidt; a grandson, Justin David Noble; nine brothers and one sister.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Youth & Ag Building, Grant County Fairgrounds. Burial will be at a later date. Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster is serving the family.
