Pauline A. Tobin, age 86, of Potosi, died Friday, August 9, 2013, at the Epione Pavilion, Cuba City. She was born on October 25, 1926, in Lancaster, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Schauff) Fishnick. On August 27, 1946, Pauline was united in marriage to John J. Tobin.
Survivors include her children: Carol (Bill) Terfruchte; Arlene (Pete) Pickel; Jackie (Rusty) Schaefer; Dan (Jeanne) Tobin; Colleen (Brad) Leibfried; grandchildren: Tina (Corey) Brunner; Tony (Stacy) Terfruchte; Stacey (Casey Kaiser) Curwen; Nicki (Kevin) Runde; Shawn (Ali Jenkins) Schaefer; Shane (Brittney) Schaefer; Sheena (Brett) Metcalfe; Jamie Leibfried; Luke Leibfried; Kelly Leibfried; great-grandchildren: Tanner and Mya Fowler; Briggs Runde; Ava and Brady Curwen; Andrew, Will, and Harlow Terfruchte; Cameron Schaefer; Ty Leibfried; Nash Metcalfe; a sister, Sally Adrian; other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her siblings: Agnes Irish; Herb Fishnick; Roland Fishnick; Paul Fishnick and Vincent Fishnick.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Tennyson, with Fr. Richard Leffler officiating. Burial was in St. Thomas Cemetery, Potosi. Family and friends called on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Potosi is serving the family.
