Paul K. Lorenz

LANCASTER - Paul K. Lorenz, age 74, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born November 8, 1947, the son of Paul and Addie (Moore) Lorenz. Paul lived in Madison, Wisconsin until the age of 10. He then moved to Levenworth, Kansas with his mother and three brothers: Art, Joe, and Steve after the passing of his father. Paul graduated from Levenworth, Kansas High School in 1966 and then attended Lawerence College in Lawerence, Kansas for one year. After college he moved back to Madison, Wisconsin and began working at Oscar Meyer. In 1970, he married Anna Dedrick. In the mid to late 70’s he left Oscar Meyer and opened a Coin shop with his friend Jerry Hermanson. He later went on his own and opened his own store on the east side of Madison. He semi-retired in fall of 2004, and moved to Lancaster, Wisconsin. On July 29, 2010, he married to Elena Dyachkova, in Lancaster, Wisconsin. He enjoyed golf, bowling and driving his corvette.

Survivors include his wife, Elena; and his son, Craig Lorenz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 1234 S. Madison St, Lancaster, Wisconsin with Reverend Pamela Strakeljahn officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
