Patricia C. Anderson

Patricia C. Anderson, age 88, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Lancaster Health Services surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 14, 1936, in Lancaster, the daughter of Claire and Mabel (Davisson) Howell. Patricia graduated from Lancaster High School and married David Salis. Three sons were born to this union, Dennis, Alan and Timothy. David passed away on March 22, 1959, as the result of an automobile accident. Patricia later married Carroll “Andy” Anderson and three children were born to this union, Kevin, Tami, and Lynn. After their marriage, they moved to La Crosse where Patricia worked at the Company Store, La Crosse Floral, and Northern Engraving. She also owned and operated her own floral and gift shop. Carroll passed away on June 28, 1997. Patricia enjoyed antiques, flowers, gardening, and crafts. Most of all, she dearly loved spending time with her family. Patricia was loved by all who met her and was affectionately called “Ma Anderson” or “Granny Pat” by many. 

Survivors include her children: Timothy (Nancy) Salis, Tami Anderson, and Lynn Meier; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, Patricia was preceded in death by three sons: Kevin on September 30, 1983, Dennis on December 19, 2022, and Alan on December 27, 2023; her brother, George; her grandson, TJ; great-granddaughter, Lily; son-in-law, Pork Meier; and her faithful companion, Mitsy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Charlotte Eversoll officiating. The burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
