Nicholas L. Adrian

Nicholas L. Adrian, age 58, of Cassville, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at his residence in Cassville. He was born on November 3, 1950, the son of Francis and Pearl ( Donaldson) Adrian. Nick attended Cassville High School. He was employed with the Village of Cassville for many years. Nick was currently working part time for Walz Lumber Company in Bagley. He loved spending time with his family and friends and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Nick had a collection of salt and pepper shakers that started from his mothers collection.

Survivors include his best friend and partner, Roberta Muntz, and her parents, Robert (Rose) Bohringer, all of Cassville; step-daughter, Chrissy Vogt, Fennimore; four sisters: JoAnn (Harold) Lenz, Cassville; Kay Johnstone, Platteville; Donna Theisen, Cassville; Shirley (David) Leamy, Bloomington; a brother: Ronald (Laurie) Adrian, Calvert City, KY; many nieces and nephews, dear friends, and his four legged friends, Dog and Molly.

In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Randy, two nephews, Joe and Ronnie Adrian, Jr., and a great-niece, Trista Mumm.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Martin Funeral Home in Cassville at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Pamela Strakeljahn officiating. Burial was be in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville. Friends called on Saturday, April 4, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Nicholas L. Adrian Memorial Fund has been established.
