Michael G. "Mike" Schramm

Michael G. “Mike” Schramm, age 37 of Lancaster, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019. He was born April 3, 1981 in Lancaster, the son of Greg and Carol (Glassmaker) Schramm. Mike graduated from Lancaster High School in 1999 and then went to work – most recently at the John Deere Dubuque Works. He loved being in the woods and spent much of his free time hunting, camping, or cruising on his bike.

Mike is survived by his wife, Ashley; three children: Jayden, Emma, and Mazie; two-step children: Bentley and Lynea; parents, Greg and Carol Schramm; brother, Bill (Jenny) Schramm; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Ila (Clauer) Schramm; and maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Marian (Cooper) Glassmaker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Family and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory, and on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Michael G. “Mike” Schramm Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is entrusted with his services.
