Mary A. Rhodes

FENNIMORE – Mary Alice Rhodes, age 72, of Fennimore, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born on August 26, 1952, in Boscobel, the daughter of Harry W. and Virginia M. (Harriman) McGraw, Jr. Mary graduated from Fennimore High School in 1970. On March 11, 1979, she was united in marriage to Bruce Rhodes at the First United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Mary enjoyed watching movies, listening to the “oldies”, playing cards, especially 500, Poker and Rummy. Her children remember her as a devoted mother that was capable of taking on both parent roles when needed. 

Survivors include her husband, Bruce; her children, Jennifer (Jeffrey J.) Chase and Brian Rhodes; one granddaughter, Rosa Rhodes; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Virginia and her brothers, Marvin and Weldon McGraw.

Family will greet friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 1234 S Madison Street, Lancaster, WI.
