Marvin L. McGraw, age 73, of Fennimore, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on February 12, 1948, in Rockford, IL, the son of Harry and Virginia (Heirman) McGraw. Marvin graduated from Fennimore High School in 1966. In 1977, Marvin was united in marriage to Rochelle Horner. He earned his automotive certificate and obtained a degree in electromechanical technology in 1988. Marvin also earned a certificate as a CNC operator. He retired at the age of 60. Marvin enjoyed tinkering with cars and playing cards and Bingo. He dearly loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren. Marvin will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his son, Josh McGraw; a stepdaughter, Christina True; 3 grandchildren: Logan, Kadence, and Kendrick; a sister, Mary (Bruce) Rhodes; Chad Wiskus and Jerry Koppen, who Marvin treated like sons; a sister-in-law, Rita McGraw; several nieces and nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Weldon McGraw.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fenway House formerly known as The Silent Woman Banquet Hall in Fennimore. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
