Marcia F. Dailey, age 62, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020, at her home. She was born on February 21, 1958, in Lancaster, the daughter of Gerald "Jerry" and Jane Ann (Davies) Bartow. Marcia graduated from Fennimore High School in 1976. She earned her CNA certificate and was employed at Good Samaritan in Fennimore as well as Lancaster Memorial Hospital. On September 19, 1980, Marcia was united in marriage to Rick Dailey in Lancaster. Together they raised a son, Aaron. Marcia managed properties for David Bainbridge and Pat Friar from the late 1980's until the present. She enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, playing cards, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Marcia dearly loved spending time with her family and her grand fur babies. She also volunteered her time and talents as a secretary for the West Grant Rescue Squad. Marcia was a generous person who donated her time and money to various organizations within the Lancaster community.
Survivors include her loving husband, Rick; their son, Aaron (Candice) Dailey; her mother, Jane "Lady Jane" Bartow; her grand fur babies, Stormē, Ava, and Peanut; her siblings: Deb (David) Fishler, Douglas (Christine) Bartow, Kristine (Andy) Cerny, Mark (Ellen) Bartow, Gary Bartow, and Jennifer (Jim) Joyce; sister-in-law, Connie Bartow; special nephew, Floyd (Lee Andra) Bartow, Jr., and their daughter, Peyton; special cousin, Renee "PITA" (Mark) Spensley and family; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her father, Jerry, and her maternal and paternal grandparents, Marcia was preceded in death by her siblings: Floyd, Shawn, Dennis, and Rebecca Bartow.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Meeting Room, 1053 South Madison in Lancaster. Private family burial will be held in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Marcia F. Dailey Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is serving the family.
