MaDonna Kress

MaDonna E. ''Donna'' Kress, age 85, died Friday, December 25, 2015, at Our House Assisted Living in Platteville, WI. Donna was born on November 19, 1930 to Alfred & Josephine (Moyer) Roth and was one of seven children. Donna married the love of her life Maynard A. Kress on February 21, 1954. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and beloved husband of 42 years.

Donna was a member of the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary and fulfilled her life with the love of dancing, gambling, a good game of cards, a cold beer, and a cigarette in her hand. She was a very loving woman, with spunk and character, the queen of old sayings and storytelling, and loved being around her family and friends.

Donna leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her three boys, Robert (Sandra), William (Linda), and Raymond (Lisa); nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson, and many nieces, nephews.

Donna touched the lives of many with her sense of humor and spunk all the way to the end.

Family and friends whose lives Donna touched are invited to Martin Funeral Home in Potosi, WI on Wednesday December 30, 2015, visitation started at 9, with Fr. Bernard Rott officiating services at noon; burial followed at British Hollow Cemetery, Potosi, WI.
