Lyle L. Schauff

Lyle L. Schauff, age 74, of Cassville died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on August 20, 1935 in Lancaster, WI the son of Lawrence and Dorothy (Klein) Schauff. Lyle was united in marriage to Judy Ann Bolen on August 17, 2007. His lifelong dream was fulfilled by living on the Schauff Family Farm. Lyle was best known for his great sense of humor. He loved joking with family and friends and telling you the way it is. Lyle appreciated the help he received from others, including the extra help from his nephews, Todd Bausch and Steve Ackerman.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Judy, Cassville; his siblings, Shirley (Joe) Ackerman, Cassville, Larry (Doris) Schauff, and Sharon Reynolds, both of Sun Prairie; his step-sons: Steven Kennedy and Michael (Christine) Kennedy both Onawa, IA; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Tom and a nephew, Terry Reynolds.

Funeral Services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father William Seipp officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Family and friends were welcome from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at St. Charles Catholic Church. The Martin Funeral Home in Cassville is serving the family
