Lucille D. Bellrichard

Lucille D. Bellrichard, age 95, of Lancaster, died on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, rural Lancaster. She was born on December 28, 1914, in Wyalusing Township in Grant County, WI, the daughter of Abraham and Alma (Woodman) Key. She married Lyle Bellrichard on June 6, 1936. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2001. Lucille loved to bake, can, and cook for her loving family. She was always the perfect hostess. Lucille also enjoyed music and could play many instruments by ear. She had great devotion to her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Joanne Wood, Lancaster; Janice Hines, Lancaster; Lyle Dennis (Ginny) Bellrichard, Jr., Hazel Green; Sandy (Kent) Austin, Verona; and David (Maggie) Bellrichard, Cuba City; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Kadlec, Menominee; and Jeanette Hill, La Crosse.

In addition to her husband, Lyle, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Bellrichard, and her brothers: Russell, Keith Bud, Kenneth, and Virgil Key; and her sisters: Ivanelle Murray, Phyllis Payne, and Laura Key.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 12, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Clement Catholic Church with Fr. William Seipp officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Prairie du Chien. Family and friends called on Friday, February 12 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster is assisting the family.
