Luana M. Juarez

Luana Marie Juarez, 65, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital, Janesville, WI.

She was born December 20, 1946 in Madison, WI the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Bockhop) West.

Luana married Manuel J. Juarez, Jr. on April 29, 1969 in Rock Island, Illinois. Manuel passed away on May 15, 2012. She was a Social Worker for Catholic Charities and Childrens Home and Aide Society in Rockford. Luana loved animals, cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

Luana is survived by her daughter, Sara (Ben) Koch of Orfordville, WI, her son, Brian (Tina) of Fort Atkinson, WI; 3 Grandchildren, Andy and Josh Juarez and Isabelle Koch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services were held at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home, 100 Park Place, Platteville, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012, with Fr. Rudy Juarez officiating. A visitation was at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

A visitation was held at Newcomer-Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill, 3008 S Coon Island Rd, Orfordville, WI on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial was in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont.
