Lori L. Budworth

DODGEVILLE – Lori L. Budworth, age 63, of Dodgeville, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Upland Hills Health, Dodgeville.  She was born on March 18, 1960, the daughter of Richard and Ellen (Blackbourn) Krohn.  Lori graduated from Lancaster High School in 1978 and furthered her education at Vo-Tech in Fennimore.  She was employed at Mega Foods in Lancaster.  On September 23, 1989, she married Terrence M. “Terry” Breuer at the St. Paul Liberty Ridge Church, rural Lancaster.  He preceded her in death on April 27, 1999.  She later worked for Kwik Trip in Lancaster and Prairie du Chien.  On October 6, 2006, Lori was united in marriage to Lawrence W. “Lewy” Budworth in Lancaster.  In 2009, they moved to Dodgeville, where she worked at Kwik Trip there.  Lori was a member of the Beetown Gospel Hall.  She enjoyed camping, garage sales, thrift store shopping, baking, and cheering for the Badgers and Packers.  Lori also enjoyed her family, getting ready for the holidays, and spoiling her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

Survivors include her husband, Lewy; her mother, Ellen Krohn; her sister, Paula Pulvermacher and her children: Tara (Tony) Winscher and their daughter, Brooke and Adam Pulvermacher and his daughter, Izzy; her step-sons: Josh (Hillary), Nick (Amy), Jake (Sami Meckley) Budworth; 6 grandchildren with one on the way; her father-in-law, John Budworth; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dave (Cheryl) Budworth, Kathy (Carson) Clark, Joe, Tom (Geneva Foster), Al (Marie) Budworth, Carol (Ron) Miles, Paul (Leah) Budworth; a step-son-in-law, Matt Fry; members of the Breuer family, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and her best friend, Stephanie Hubbard.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Richard Krohn; a brother-in-law, Don Pulvermacher, her stepchildren: Chris Breuer and Melissa “Missy” Fry; a mother-in-law, Marcella “Sally” Budworth; her sister-in-law, Julie Budworth.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster.  Burial will be in Dodge Cemetery, Beetown Township.  Family and friends may call on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
