Linda A. Reynolds-Kunkel

CASSVILLE – Linda A. Reynolds-Kunkel, age 82, of Cassville, Wisconsin, passed away on October 19, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born to Cyril McCann and Margaret (Crouse) Fishnick on August 9, 1940, in Dubuque, Iowa. Linda went to Cassville Elementary School and went on to graduate from Cassville High School as Salutatorian of her class. She was a dedicated member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville, Wisconsin; serving as a CCD teacher, eucharistic minister, foster parent, and leading the rosary. Linda worked many jobs including: Bloomington Meats, Home Care Select, and was a manager of the Cassville Meal Site. In her free time, she loved to line dance, garden, go to garage sales and chauffer her friends to wherever they needed to be.

Survivors include her children: Timothy Reynolds, Potosi; Kim (Tim) Glassmaker, Bloomington; Peter (Dawn) Reynolds and Kurt (Connie) Reynolds, all of Potosi; Patrick (Lisa) Reynolds, Cassville; Dr. Mary Reynolds and Chrissy Swartout, Portland, OR; Peggy (Brett) Stoffel, Dubuque, IA; LuAnne (Ken) Johll and Todd (Ashley Gillilan) Reynolds, all of Cassville; and Sean (Amy) Reynolds of Hazel Green; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Denny (Loise) McCann, Diane (Jerry) Swift, Maggie (James) Fecht, Micki (Tom) Abing, Gary McCann, Judy (Jim) Wamsley, Fred (Sandy) Fishnick, and Jim Fishnick; many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her first husband of 51 years, Lawrence “Jack” Reynolds; her second husband, John Kunkel; and her parents and step-parents Cyril and Ann McCann, and Gerald and Margaret Fishnick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 25, 2022, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Friends and family may gather Monday, October 24, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church, with the Divine Mercy Chaplet and rosary held at 5:00 p.m. They also may gather Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be held after the luncheon at St. Thomas Cemetery in Potosi. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
