Lillian H. Weist

LANCASTER – Lillian H. Weist, age 79 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Lancaster Health Services in Lancaster. She was born July 3, 1942, the daughter of Ignatz and Helen (Russel) Mish. Lillian graduated Arcadia High School. On February 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Leo M. DeWilde. He preceded Lillian in death. On September 13, 2002, she was united in marriage to Stanley L. Weist. Lillian worked at various jobs throughout her career. She was a cook, bar tender, tax preparer, and home health care provider. Lillian was a very creative person, enjoying gardening, camping, cooking, baking, crocheting, and knitting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving is her husband, Stan; her children, Bonita (Jeff) DeWilde, Ronnie (Rhonda) DeWilde, Gary (Deb) DeWilde, and Bruce (Paula) DeWilde; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jacob Coby; Andrew, Zachary, and Lillyanna DeWilde, Daniel Wong, Amanda Meyer, Sarah Roach, Donald, Cassandra, Abigail, Ashley, Morgan and Derick DeWilde; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; mother-in-law, Marie Weist; stepson, Randy Weist; stepdaughter, Lisa Mills; siblings, Joseph Mish, Marion Garrison, and Willis Mish, Sr.,
In addition to her husband Leo, Lillian was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy DeWilde, her twin brother, LeRoy Mish, a brother, Donald Mish, and a stepson Terry Weist.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:45 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 1234 South Madison Street, Lancaster, Wisconsin 53813. Burial will be in the Buffalo City Cemetery, Cochrane, Wisconsin. Family and friends may call on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
