Lillian M. Allen

Lillian Marie Allen Burrows, age 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Divine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fennimore after a long illness.  She was born on June 9, 1962, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward C. and Martha Marie (Pace) Allen.  Paul and Lillian were married in a small ceremony on February 12, 1982, in St. Cloud, Florida.  Lillian and her husband moved to Belmont in 2018 from St. Cloud, Florida.  Lillian resided there until 2020 after her husband Paul Edward Burrows passed away in 2019.  Upon Paul’s passing in 2019, they had been married 39 years.  She then resided in Lancaster until her passing.  Paul and Lillian had no children.  She was a homemaker throughout their union. Lillian enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gambling, putting puzzles together, and playing games on her phone.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Paul, Lillian was preceded in death by her sister in 2014, two brothers, her mother and father-in-law, Bruce and Clarissa Burrows, her brothers-in-law, Keith, Randy, Rick and Bruce Burrows, sisters-in-law, Donna Burrows and Pamela Clark, and a nephew, John Burrows.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Ruth Stewart, Becky Burrows, Christine Mitchell and Cathy (John) Barnett; brothers-in-law, Douglas, Steve and Scott Burrows; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and friends. 

In keeping with her wishes there will be no formal services.  Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
