Leo J. Hahn, age 91 passed away on Friday June 26, 2015 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born June 19, 1924 in Fennimore, the son of Joseph and Mary (Fuerstenberg) Hahn. Leo graduated from Lancaster High School in 1942 and was united into marriage to June M. Reed on January 9, 1946 at St. Clement Catholic Church. Together they farmed in North Lancaster Township for over 50 years. Leo was a school bus driver for the Lancaster Community School District for over 30 years, and a Grant County Deputy for over 40 years. He was a dedicated member of St. Clement Catholic Church and the Catholic Knights. Leo loved keeping up with his family and their activities. He also enjoyed wood working, playing a good game of euchre, cribbage, and dominos.

Surviving is his loving wife of 69 years June, their children; Shirley (Donald) Bennett, Jeanne Kohlbeck,Patricia (Richard) Bugalski , Michael (Linda) Hahn, Mary Jo (Kevin) Roesch, Barb (Bob) Arnold, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters, Bernice Muench, Dolores (Alan) Schwantes, Phyllis Schmit, a brother in law Harold Bennett, a sister in law Roberta Reed, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Sarah Andraski, a sister Irene Bennett, three brothers in law Carl Muench, Donald Schmit, and William Reed, and a sister in law Dorothy (Wendell) Case.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday July 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster with Rev. John Sasse officiating. Burial was in the St. Clement Cemetery. Family and friends called on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, where a 2:45 p.m. parish rosary will be held. Friends also called on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. The Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster is serving the family. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Leo J. Hahn Memorial Fund has been established.
