Lee G. Cadwell, age 82, of Cassville, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the Lancaster Care Center, Lancaster. He was born on September 6, 1931, the son of Lester and Isabelle (Junk) Cadwell. Lee graduated from Cassville High School. He entered the United States Air Force and served his country for twelve years until his honorable discharge in 1964. Lee owned and operated Cadwell Appliance and Service until 1988. He then began teaching appliance service at Southwest Technical College until his retirement in 1994. On June 4, 1979, Lee was united in marriage to Maryann Vogt. Lee was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and the American Legion Post No. 352 of Cassville. He enjoyed fixing things and was a wonderful handyman. Lee had a quick wit and enjoyed talking to people and making them laugh. He also enjoyed spending the winter months in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where he and Maryann have been wintering for the past eighteen years. Lees greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Maryann, Cassville; two step-sons: Jeffrey (Debbie) Vogt, Madison; their children, Chris and Stephanie; Michael (Nancy) Vogt, Westley Chapel, FL; sisters-in-law: Joan Cadwell, Dubuque, IA; Margaret Cadwell, Bismarck, MO; a brother-in-law, Stan Mulrooney, Janesville; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his siblings: June, Lester, Howard, Paul, Bill, Gertrude and his twin brother, Leo.

Funeral services were held on Monday, October 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial with military honors was in St. Charles Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends called on Sunday, October 20, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church where a 3:00 p.m. prayer service will be held. Friends also called on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services is serving the family.
