 Lawrence W. Felder, age 90, of Bloomington, died on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society of Fennimore. He was born on July 22, 1921, on the family farm near Bagley, the son of William and Mary (Drexler) Felder. Lawrence married Alice Bohnenkamp on May 27, 1947, and together they farmed near Bagley until retirement in 1986. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Bloomington.

Survivors include his five children: Kathy (Brian) Denk, Greg (Rosemarie), John (Dianne), Elaine (Dennis) Krause, and Laurie; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Doris Bohnenkamp; sisters-in-law, Irene Osterhaus and Esther Breuer; brother-in-law, Alfred Bohnenkamp; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Alice, Lawrence was preceded in death by five sisters: Della Standorf, Leona Favre, Alma LaBonne, Mildred Osterhaus, Hildegard Sis Osterhaus, and a brother, Delbert Felder.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in St. Marys Cemetery, Bloomington. Family and friends called on Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington, where a 3:00 p.m. scripture service was held. Family and friends also called on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his memory to St. Marys Catholic Church,535 Congress St., Bloomington, WI 53804 and/or Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.
