Kevin Holt

Kevin L. Holt, age 43, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his home. He was born on September 30, 1971, in Lancaster, the son of Donald T. and Ella M. (Helbing) Holt. Kevin attended Potosi Schools and drove semi for several years. He later farmed in the Belmont and Darlington areas. After farming, Kevin drove semi again and was currently employed at Nu-Pak in Boscobel. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, playing video games and working on cars. Kevin dearly loved spending time with his two boys, Xander and Dwight.

Survivors include his two sons: Xander and Dwight Holt; his mother, Ella Kittoe, Potosi; his siblings: Larry Holt, Potosi; Pam Arnold, Lancaster; Donell Hefel, Dubuque, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, two brothers, Dennis and Douglas and his brother-in-law, Kelly Arnold.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 12:00 noon at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial was in St. Andrew Cemetery, Tennyson. Family and friends called on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Potosi is assisting the family.
