June M. Hahn, age 88, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster. She was born on June 9, 1927, in Lima Union Township, the daughter of Orval and Elsie (Graf) Reed. June graduated from Platteville High School. On January 9, 1946, she was united in marriage to Leo J. Hahn at St. Clement Catholic Church. Together they farmed in North Lancaster Township for over 50 years. June was a school bus driver for the Lancaster Community School District for over 30 years. She was a 4-H leader for over 40 years and a superintendent for the Grant County Fair. June was also a member of the Grant Regional Hospital Auxiliary for over 40 years. She was a dedicated member of St. Clement Catholic Church and the Catholic Knights. June loved keeping up with her family and their activities and enjoyed playing euchre, crafting, especially, crocheting, sewing, and knitting. She also taught adult crafts for Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.

Survivors include her children: Shirley (Donald) Bennett, Mineral Point; Jeanne Kohlbeck, Wausau; Patricia (Richard) Bugalski, Dubuque, IA; Michael (Linda) Hahn, Lancaster; Mary Jo (Kevin) Roesch, Potosi; Barb (Bob) Arnold, Stoughton; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Bernice Muench; Dolores (Alan) Schwantes, Phyllis Schmit, and Roberta Reed; many nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Leo; a granddaughter, Sarah Andraski; her siblings: William Reed and Dorothy (Wendell) Case; sister-in-law: Irene (Harold) Bennett; brothers-in-law: Carl Muench and Donald Schmit.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, February 1, 2016, at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster at 11:00 a.m. with Father William Seipp officiating. Burial was in St. Clement Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends called on Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster. Friends also called on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church, where a 9:45 a.m. parish rosary was held. In lieu of plants and flowers, a June M. Hahn Memorial Fund has been established. Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster is assisting the family.
