Judy K. Paulus, age 59, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at UW Hospital & Clinics in Madison. She was born on June 22, 1956, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Charles and Irene (Long) Enke. Judy graduated from West Grant High School in 1974. After graduation, she began her career at Bloomington State Bank. Judy was later employed at True Value Hardware in Prairie du Chien, Turner Motors in Lancaster, and most recently Larry Stark Mobile Homes in Prairie du Chien. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington and was a fair superintendent at the Blake's Prairie Junior Fair in Bloomington and the Grant County Fair in Lancaster. Judy devoted time to the Bloomington Volunteer Fire Department when they hosted a fundraiser or were called out. She enjoyed fishing, camping, a good game of cards, and sometimes, deer and squirrel hunting with her husband, Dennis.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis; a sister, Jean (Dan) Case; two brothers, Bill and Bob Enke; a niece, Penny (Dan) Schelberger and their son, Riley; her father, Charles Enke; and her father-in-law, Charles Paulus; and many members of the Paulus family.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Enke; mother-in-law, Loris Paulus; and a sister-in-law, Amy Moris.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in the Union Nagle Cemetery, Patch Grove. Family and friends called on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Judy K. Paulus Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington is serving the family.
