Judith A. Underhill, age 71 of Bagley, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born December 6, 1943, in South Dakota, the daughter of Vernon (Nitzie) Cleveland and Grace (La Vern) Dusso. Judy graduated from Beloit Memorial High School. She was united in marriage to Larry J. Underhill on August 28, 1976, at the United Methodist Church in Rockton, IL. After spending many years vacationing in Bagley, they decided to move there. Larry and Judy owned and operated the Sportsman's Tap Tavern in Bagley. Judy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and bird watching. She dearly loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her loving children: Vicky (Spike Jackley) Vlach; Tammy Krenzke; Beth (Julian) Walker; Lori Ann (Scott) Sonderguard; Larry (Tanya); and Troy (Sheena) Underhill; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Larry; two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Bagley with Reverend Pamela Strakeljahn officiating. Burial was in the Bagley Cemetery. Family and friends called on Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bloomington is assisting the family.
