Joyce Bush

Joyce Bush, age 87, of Lancaster, entered the Lords Kingdom on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Lancaster surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Bert and Iva (Pettibone) Whittum on July 11, 1924. Joyce married Lowell Bush on June 25, 1948. Joyce founded Joy Public Broadcasting Corporation Christian Radio.

Survivors include her three children: Mark (Jenna) Bush; Naomi (David) Boss and Thomas (Victoria) Bush; nine grandchildren: Christopher (Keri), Jason, Regan, Zachary, Chayne, and Laura Bush and Bethany, Joshua, and Mark Boss; one great-grandchild, Colton Bush; her sister, Ruth (Al) Pontious; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Joyce rejoices in Heaven with Lowell, her parents; two siblings, Leah and Edwin, and many loved ones.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 12:00 noon at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster with Pastor Dave Boss officiating. Burial was at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012, in Oakwood Cemetery, Muskegon, MI. Family and friends called on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
