John F. Breuer

STERLING, IL – John F. Breuer, age 66, of Sterling, IL, formerly of Cassville, WI, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Lancaster, WI, on December 26, 1951 the son of August and Mary (Kirschbaum) Breuer. He attended Cassville High School and married Dana Worsham on June 14, 1975. John was a born and raised farmer, and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by Dana Breuer; a son, Joshua (Holly) Breuer; two grandchildren: Caitlin and Cody Breuer; three brothers: Roger (Reita) Breuer, Ken (Janet) Breuer, and Tom (Linda) Breuer; two sisters: Lois (Dennis) McCann and Kathleen (Mark) Meier; a brother-in-law, Jack Eggler; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Eggler.

Funeral services will be on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial will be in the Cassville Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, a John F. Breuer Memorial Fund has been established. The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is entrusted with his services.
