Joann M. Lenz, age 82, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born April 14, 1936 in Bagley, WI, the daughter of Donald and Pearl (Donaldson) Ready. On December 26, 1955, Joann married Harold Lenz at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, IA. In her free time, Joann would feed birds and got many hours of enjoyment watching birds, squirrels or any other critter that came into her yard. She was a member of the United Methodist church and is fondly remembered as a good Christian.

Joann is survived by her husband, Harold; three sons: Jeff (Ronda), Scott, and Eric (Mary) Lenz; five grandchildren: Adam (Stacey Anderson), Nicole, Ryan (Samantha Hopp), Rick, and David Lenz; siblings: Donna Theisen, Ron (Laurie) Adrian, Shirley (David) Leamy, Duane Ready, and Pat Ready; and many nieces and nephews, who were all very special to her.

In addition to her parents and step-father, Francis Adrian, Joann was preceded in death by four siblings: Kay Johnstone, Bill, Nick, and Randy Adrian.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Cassville Cemetery, Cassville with Mary Ann Floerke officiating. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Joann M. Lenz Memorial Fund has been established. The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory of Cassville is entrusted with her services.
