Jill M. Mason

Jill Marie Mason, age 58, of Glen Haven, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, surrounded by her family at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on June 18, 1953, in Lancaster, the daughter of Melvin and Ruth (Brown) Mason. She enjoyed watching "The Price is Right" and the "Lawrence Welk Show." Jill also enjoyed going for car rides, horses, and root beer floats. She loved spending time with her family and attending any party.

Survivors include her sisters: Doris Clevidence, Madison; Shirley Meier, Glen Haven; Virginia (Dean) Ziegler, Sun Prairie; Linda (Duane) Hoffman, Bloomington; her brother, Jack (Patty) Mason, Glen Haven;and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by her brothers, Clive "Pete" (Catherine) Mason, Stan and Gene Mason; two brothers-in-law: Morris Clevidence and Lavern Meier; a nephew, Rod Ziegler and a niece, Mary Clevidence.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 12:00 noon at the United Methodist Church in Bloomington with Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Burial was in Blakes Prairie Cemetery, Bloomington. Family and friends called on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington is assisting the family.
