Jesse T. Sahr

Jesse T. Sahr, age 44, of Cassville, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident.  He was born on February 9, 1979, in Fort Atkinson, the son of Thomas and Randy (Bullock) Sahr.  Jesse graduated from West Grant High School in 1997.  After graduation, he began his career in concrete finishing.  On March 10, 2001, Jesse began his life with Hilary White.  They were united in marriage on September 4, 2010, in Potosi.  Two children were born to this union, River Thomas and Rylyn Jo.  In 2014, Jesse established River Valley Concrete.  He was a jack of all trades.  In the winter months, he enjoyed logging.  Jesse was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, taxidermy, and just being in the woods.  He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, playing cards, and dearly loved spending time with his family and friends.  Jesse was extremely proud of his children.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Jesse will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Hilary; their children: River and Rylyn; his father, Tom Sahr; his sisters: Amy (Bill) Hauk and Gina (Alan) Kreger; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Randy and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster.  Private family funeral services will be held with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating.  There will be no burial.  In lieu of plants and flowers, a Jesse T. Sahr Memorial Fund has been established.
