Janet Roxann Leppla, age 71, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Potosi, unexpectantly went to be with Jesus on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on April 1, 1948, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Sheriff) Mulder. On January 4, 1975, Janet married Robert Leppla. He was the love of her life. She enjoyed camping, crafts, baking and country music. Janet had a great love for Church, community, family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Robert; 6 daughters: Janet Rose, Lacinda, BeLinda, Glenda, Soneica, and Lisa; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way; her sisters: Patricia and Caroline; other relatives and many friends.

The family will be receiving guests from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Davies Memorial United Church of Christ in Potosi with Pastor Karsten Snitker officiating. Burial will be in British Hollow Cemetery, Potosi. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Janet R. Leppla Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi is entrusted with her care.
